Welcome to our website (updated November 2025).

New classes! The next online classes will begin 4-5pm 15th December 15th 2025, and continue weekly. You can sign up here. Classes are £6 / $8 / 7 Euros per session, paid by a £25 monthly Substack subscription. (For pricing clarity, after the platform and Stripe take their cut, I earn just under £5 per session per participant, the same fees I charged in 2020.) Classes are optimised for morning timeslot in USA / Canada and pre-dinner slot in UK. We can adjust as necessary depending on students’ whereabouts.

After a sabbatical, I have resumed teaching T’ai Chi, Heartwork and Chi Kung in 121 lessons in Hexham and online. A residential in-person T’ai Chi retreat is planned for November 2026, Veneto, Italy. More details available in spring 2026.

121 and bespoke small group classes are now available with me in person in Hexham. You can also arrange to study with me online via Zoom. Get in touch via the form below to discuss your study.

Our Instagram has over 70 free short taichi, chi kung (qi gong), meditation lessons and much more.

Our Instructors

Our instructors have studied to a high level with Caroline Ross, founder of GRTC and with T’ai Chi Master Mark Raudva, principal of The T’ai Chi Centre. Mark was a long time student of Dr John Kells who founded the BTCCA, the oldest T’ai Chi association in the UK, and who was the senior student of Dr Chi Chiang-Tao.
